Ice Ice Baby!

Has it happened before ?

You are waiting at the bus stop and suddenly you see someone & your heart starts to sing. You want to go talk & know them more. Then the bus arrives and you are left with no choice but stare at them the entire journey, devising schemes on how to break the ice.

Next day, your eyes long to catch a glimpse of them. The bell rings in you when you like what you see and there is an adlerine rush when your eyes meet & you see a friendly smile. The dreams, plans continue on the bus ride as you silently gaze ...

Day 3 brings joy as you begin to talk, heart sings its heart out. You like every conversation you are having and are happy that bus is late giving a chance to know more. The bus arrives and the silent journey continues....

Then the ice breaks when you sit next to her in the bus and you never wish you broke the ice...

Experience always suggests not to break the ice but Dil kya kare... Bas gaata hai .... Ice Ice Baby!

Yeh Saali Zindagi!

Life sucks when you have a good heart. You help too much, trust too much, give too much, care too much, and love too much.

Sometimes, you need to let go and help yourself.

Not sure what my heart is looking for, Not sure what my mind thinks about,
Not sure what my life needs from me,

Yeh Saali Zindagi!

Jaane kise doondti hain nazarein,
Jaane kya soctha hai mann,
Jaane kyon pareshan hai dil,
Jaane Kahan hai apni manzil!

Yeh Saali Zindagi!

Khabi hasati hai,
Khabi rulati hai,
Khabi musukarakar hai,

Par saala kya doondti hai???

Yeh Saali Zindagi!

Specimen!

Mom always considered few including my dad as a specimen. A unique, one of a kind museum artifact who is different from rest of the crowd.

Today it feels like everyone is a Specimen. Each one has their own perception of life, view point as radical, different than everyone else. Probably, these imperfections bring people together.
Its like how someone new to our group feels out of place when we start talking about work and he seems lost in what we are discussing. This often prompts to stop discussing office talks outside your cubicle. Indirectly bringing out our creative, fun part to life.

What made me wonder about this now, is a paragraph from one of my favorite book "Monk who sold his Ferrari!". He said that you should read books as the problems you are facing now or going to face must been already someone's experience to which you can relate and ease you in solving your problems.... What's funny is that I am not able to use my own experience in solving, providing solace to self for things which I faced in past. No problems in life are same, what's the fun if you could refer a manual to solve all problems...

You are a specimen, So are your problems... Just face it!

Happy Mother's Day

When your mom is a glue holding the pieces together, you need to call her everyday & tell her that you love her and its your day Everyday!

It's not that I do it on purpose but I tend to take my mom for granted. No matter what time, day it is, without even knowing how her day has been, I am quite confident that she will be there to hear me out.

Her expectations have not been met by me most of the time but quite certainly, I have given her pleasent surprises. Today she expected me to call her but I did not. Mothers day has never been celebrated by us, we always felt it was a western influence and the entire event is a publicity gimmick.... Little did I know she expected me to wish...

More than wishing, I ended up troubling her with my thoughts which I just seem to ponder on...

When the world dedicates a day for every mother, the least you can do is to not ruin it for her!!! ...

Dil Chahta Hai!

Being content and being happy is different. You go out looking for chocolate lava cake but being content with lemon cake does not make you happy though you feel little satisfied that you were not completely disappointed.

Anything that you put your mind to completely and even your heart to it works wonders for your confidence and the results show. This is not limited to professional life and its applicable everywhere.

You meet someone, you like them. The likeness comes from their personality and your receptiveness of their signals. This stage of the game is played with your heart. When you wish to take this to the next level, your mind objects and creates a test plan. Your checklist might be complete but in the end its Dil Chahta Hai.
There are people you love even though you see imperfections in them and there are some you cannot even like them as your heart does not say so.

Life's like that, wherever, whatever you do, consult your heart. You cannot cheat it, not for very long. Don't just say you are sorry or you love them, until it feels right , until Dil Chahta Hai
